SoFlo Raging Granny Actions
April 4, 2008

  • Sunday, April 13th — 5:00 - 9:00pm — Peace Rally — Cooper City: The SoFlo Raging Grannies will be singing anti-war songs at 6:05pm. at this huge Peace Rally sponsored by Cooper City High School. Click here for directions.

  • Tuesday, April 15th — 5:00 'til ?? — Tax Day Demonstration — West Palm Beach:  At 7:00pm the SoFlo Raging Grannies will join with CodePink and WILPF to demonstrate in front of the U. S. Post Office at 3200 Summit Blvd. in West Palm, protesting how and where our tax dollars are spent (and offering suggestions as to how the money might be better spent). Join us!     The enormous number of civilian lives sacrificed to the "liberation" of Iraq is not often mentioned by the mainstream media. Nevertheless, their loss is well-documented and profoundly sad. Write Congress ... send letters to editors ... talk to your friends ... join a peace group ... demonstrate ... and add your voice to the protest of this war.
